The KAILĀSA Paramparagatha Sūrya Vaṃśa
Chola Sāmrājya Sarvajnapeetha
The KAILĀSA Paramparagatha Sūrya Vaṃśa Chola Sāmrājya Sarvajnapeetha Thanjavur Aadheenam was established in the Thanjavur District more than a thousand years ago by the enlightened being, Śri Palaya Jnandesikar Swamigal, and has been the primary guiding force for the royal administration of the Chola dynasty. The Thanjavur Kingdom has been the epicenter of some of Hinduism’s most beautiful arts and architecture, admired until today. Like many Hindu kingdoms, the Thanjavur Aadheenam was annexed under the British empire and lost its sovereignty. With The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism Bhagavān Nithyānanda Paramashivam as the current successor, the ancient enlightenment ecosystem has been revived to its original glory.
Origins
Kingdom of Thanjavur is a hub of the most aweinspiring arts and temples of Hinduism. It was nurtured to be a center for the arts for thousands of years by the lineage of Guru Maha Sannidhanams who took care of the ecosystem, even through the destruction. Thanjavur consists of many spiritual lineages who have conjointly worked toward holding the ecosystem, and of those two of the most prominent today are the Thanjavur Aadheenam, or the Palswamy aadheenam and the Karanthai Aadheenam.
